Is teeth whitening suitable for everyone?

Teeth whitening is not recommended for children under 16 years of age or women that are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tooth whitening should not be done if you have gum disease or are requiring dental work.

How long do teeth whitening results last?

Results can last up to a year, it really depends on lifestyle and diet. Smoking, coffee, wine, soft drinks, fruit juice and staining foods and beverages will re-stain the surface of your teeth.

Is teeth whitening safe?

We use the latest whitening gel approved for use in Australia. Our gel is gentle and safe.

Should I book in with a dentist for a clean before the teeth whitening treatment?

Teeth whitening works best on teeth free from plaque and tartar. The Australian Dental Association (ADA) recommends a professional dental clean every 6 months. We strongly recommend a dental clean prior to any teeth whitening treatment if you are due for one. This will help achieve a better and long lasting result.

Do I need to do anything before teeth whitening?

No, just come to the appointment with freshly cleaned teeth.

Is there aftercare to follow post whitening?

Yes, to ensure best results, you will want to avoid eating any food or drinks that can stain your teeth for 48 hours after the treatment. You should also refrain from smoking as long as possible.

How long does the ombré brow tattoo take?

It can take up to 3 hours and 30 minutes.

How often do I need a touch up?

A complimentary 4/6 week touch up is done after the initial appointment. After the required touch up, you may only need a touch up once a year for a colour boost.

I had my eyebrows done elsewhere, can you touch them up for me?

No. I don’t do touch up appointments on brows I haven’t initially done. That would be considered a correction and will be charged as such.

Is ombré brow tattoos suitable for everyone?

No, they aren’t suitable for everyone. You may not be a suitable candidate for the procedure if you have any of the following conditions:

– taking Isoretinoin (Accutane)

– pregnant or breastfeeding

– prone to keloid scarring

– Under the age of 18

– bleeding disorders

Please consult with your specialist if you have any serious diseases that can effect your body’s healing process, such as cancer or autoimmune disorders or If you are taking any medication that contain blood thinners or medication that effects your body to heal.

Does the procedure hurt?

We do use a compounded numbing gel that is compliant and made locally. Some clients describe feeling minimal pain and discomfort. The amount of pain will depend on the clients pain tolerance and body’s reaction to anaesthetic. We always do our best to make sure you are comfortable. Anaesthetic can be applied after the initial outline and any time needed throughout the procedure.

What should I do before my ombré brow appointment?

Do not drink alcohol, caffeine or have ibuprofen 24 hours before your appointment. This is beneficial and will aid with the healing process.

Should I get my brows waxed before my appointment?

Please don’t do anything to your brows before your appointment. This is very important as we need to see where your brow hairs grow in order to get the ombré brow tattoo perfect.

Lip Blush Tattoo

What should I do before my lip blush tattoo appointment?

One week before your lip blush tattoo it is a good idea to make a lip scrub and gently exfoliate your lips. You should do this everyday for a week leading up to the appointment.

What do I do if I’m prone to getting cold sores?

If you suffer from cold sores, you will need to start taking antiviral tablets 1 week before and after the appointment. This is to Stop the risk of infection. Lip blush tattoo will trigger an outbreak if you suffer from cold sores.

We won’t do a lip blush tattoo I’m anyone that has a cold sore outbreak, you will have to reschedule and give as much notice as possible (refer to our policy’s for more information.

Skin Needling

Is skin needling permanent?

From your first appointment, collagen and elastin will build for up to  12 months. When starting out, we recommend a course of treatments, usually 4-10 treatments depending on what your trying to target, then maintenance treatments every 4 months.

How long does skin needling take?

The skin needling procedure takes 30-45 mins on the face, we also include topical anaesthetic as well which takes the total treatment time to 45 minutes – 60 minutes depending on what treatment you book in for. The deluxe treatment will be 15 mins longer than the standard treatment, which a collagen mask is applied.

How often can I have skin needling?

No less than 4 weeks apart.

What happens after the skin needling treatment?

After the treatment, your skin will look red and flushed, you need to keep it free from any products for at least 24 hours, as well as being sun smart and keeping it away from heat. This includes exercise and hot showers.
